| Motion 2010/11-09 Approve Guidelines/Standards Document |
3 February Moved by Pat Asher and seconded by Larry Flesher and dated 3 February 2011, the motion reads: "I move that the proposed Standards/Guidelines document, which appears at http://usgenweb.org/temp-guidelines/guides/final-guidelines-format.htm, created pursuant to Motion 2009/10-15, and as amended through 28 Jan 2011 be adopted. I further move pursuant to Motion 2009/10-15, that this Standards/Guidelines document replace the CC and SC standards/guidelines documents currently in effect and titled respectively "County Guidelines" and "State Page Guidelines/Standards"." Discussion is now open. If you have no discussion, please indicate by responding "no discussion". Those voting to approve the new Standards/Guidelines document: Ann Allen Geoghegan, Cyndie Enfinger, Dale Grimm, Denise Wells, Larry Flesher, Les Shockey, Nancy Beach, Pat Asher, Pauli Smith & Tina Vickery. Those voting to reject the new Standards/Guidelines document: None Those not voting: Alice Allen, Jeff Kemp and Linda Lewis Jeff, as webmaster, please replace the current CC Guidelines and SC Guidelines with this new document and update all internal links to point to this new document. Sherri Bradley National Coordinator 9 February For the record: With the passage of motion 2010/11-09 the Election Committee Procedures need to be updated to match the new Guidelines/Standards document. I have asked the Election Committee to review their procedures and propose changes to align them to the now current Guidelines/Standards document. | Motion 2010/11-10 Appointment of the NWPL SC Representative |
26 February Presented by Larry Flesher and seconded by Denise Wells and dated 26 February 2011, the motion reads: "I nominate Bill Oliver to be appointed as NWPL State Coordinator (SC) Representative to serve as provided by the USGenWeb Bylaws." 27 February With everyone having responded "no discussion", it is declared closed. Please vote on Motion 2010/11-10, which reads "I nominate Bill Oliver to be appointed as NWPL State Coordinator (SC) Representative to serve as provided by the USGenWeb Bylaws." If you agree with the motion, please respond with "agree" or "yes", if you disagree with the motion, please respond with "disagree" or "no". Voting will continue until 1:00 pm EST 2 March 2011 unless completed prior to that time. Those voting to approve the appointment of Bill Oliver as the NWPL SC Representative: Alice Allen, Ann Allen Geoghegan, Cyndie Enfinger, Dale Grimm, Denise Wells, Jeff Kemp, Larry Flesher, Les Shockey, Linda Lewis, Nancy Beach, Pat Asher, Pauli Smith and Tina Vickery. Those voting to reject Bill Oliver as the NWPL SC representative: none. Those not voting: none. The Advisory Board members listed at http://usgenweb.org/about/advisoryboard.shtml will be updated to reflect Bill's appointment. Sherri Bradley National Coordinator With Bill's appointment to fill the NWPL State Coordinator Representative seat, I've subscribed him to the BOARD and USGENWEB-ALL mail lists. The Board-EXEC list is a confidential list. All postings to BOARD-EXEC are required to remain confidential. It is a list that we use for personnel or other similar, confidential issues such as grievance appeals. Bill, if you agree that you will honor the confidentiality of Board-Exec, please signify by responding with "Agree". If you do not feel that you can honor the confidentiality of Board Exec, please signify by responding with "Disagree". Once your response to abide by the confidentiality of the list is received, I'll subscribe you to the list. Your failure to agree to maintain the confidentiality of the BOARD-EXEC list will have no bearing on your subscription to any other Project mail list, nor will it affect your participation in any official AB business. 28 February I agree to the confidentiality of Board-Exec.
