Announcement Election Committee accepting nominations	02 June 2012 The USGenWeb Election Committee will begin accepting nominations for: National Coordinator One Year Term Ending  8/31/2013 NENC SC One Year Term Ending  8/31/2013 NENC CC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 NWPL CC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 SEMA SC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 SEMA CC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 SWSC SC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 SWSC CC Two Year Term Ending  8/31/2014 Beginning today, June 1st. The nomination period runs two weeks. As a reminder to all registered, please make sure that your SPAM filter is set to accept: Registrar@usgwelections.org  so you can receive your password to vote. Agenda Item: Open on AB-CHAT is addressing the issue of a lack of volunteers for the Election Committee and related issues	03 June 2012 The agenda item currently open on AB-CHAT is addressing the issue of a lack of volunteers for the Election Committee and related issues.  The discussion has stalled and the following was posted by Pat Asher on 24 May 2012:  "I suggest we drop this item from the agenda since the underlying issue -- getting people to volunteer -- is something the AB can not control.  We can stress a need for volunteers, but we can not compel, nor should we." Are there any objections to closing this agenda item without action?  If you agree with the closing of the agenda item, please respond with "AGREE".  If you disagree with the closing of this agenda item, please respond with "DISAGREE".  The poll will continue until 6 June 2012 8 am EDT or until everyone has responded.
