| CLOSE OF 2008-2009 ADVISORY BOARD SESSION |
31 Aug 2009 by the NC I want to take a moment to thank each and every Board member. Each of you demonstrated respect, care, dedication and thoughtfulness to each other, to the Project, its volunteers and to the entire genealogical community as we dealt with the issues presented this term. Thank you all for a very hard job very well done. It has been a pleasure to serve with each one of you. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Linda Haas Davenport and Jeff Kemp respectively. Their attention to detail in their role as Board Secretary and Web Manager is an extraordinary credit to the USGenWeb Project. A thank you also goes out to all of the Standing Committee volunteers. The volunteers who serve on the committees go the extra mile to assure that the duties of their respective committees are carried out to serve and benefit the entire USGenWeb Project community. Thank you all very much. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the Project's National Coordinator. Thank you all for the opportunity to serve in that capacity for the past two years. The 2008-2009 USGenWeb Project Advisory Board session is adjourned. Most sincerely, Tina Vickery National Coordinator USGenWeb Project |
