New Advisory Board Term 2016-2017 31 August 2016

I would like to take a few moments to thank all members of our Advisory Board for their service to The USGenWeb Project over the past 12 months. And thank you for putting up with me and providing me your individual and collective guidance. It has been truly appreciated.

Tonight we are saying goodbye to Joy Fisher, who has served tirelessly on our Board as a Southwest/South Central CC Rep, and who has been of tremendous assistance and council to me, and has grabbed me by the ears a few times. Thank you for your service, Joy, and for your amazing assistance at the May 2016 National Genealogical Society Conference in Fort Lauderdale at our booth. I couldn't have done that without you and your husband Frank. Patrice Green also volunteered at the Conference, along with her step daughter, and Nancy Janyszesky took some time away from her Pennsylvania Society to assist as well. Thank you again, Joy, for all you do for The USGenWeb Project.

Also leaving us at this time is Susan C. Griffin, who served as a CC Rep for the Southeast/Middle Atlantic region. Thank you for your service on the Advisory Board over the past two years, Susan. We certainly appreciate your contributions during that time.

The remainder of the Advisory Board has not changed.

Thank you to each and every one of you. Your partnership this past year has been very much appreciated and inspirational.

As we are getting close to the bewitching hour, I wanted to send out this thank you and acknowledgement of your services for the entire time period(s) you have worked with me on the AB and I look forward to retaining each of you as a friend.

THANK YOU!

will now begin the opening matters that must be taken care of for the new
term and this month. We have numerous items to accomplish, so please try
