| ANNOUNCEMENT: Reminder to Perform Site Backups |
September 6 As the anniversary of 9-11 nears, the feeling in many circles is that there may be increasing numbers of hacking attacks against websites and/or specific servers. Should the unthinkable occur (whether by a hacking attack, server failure or closure, or other catastrophic event), it may be vitally important that you have a current, backed-up copy of your site(s). Please take the time to ensure that you have a good backup of your sites so that you'll have it if needed, and remember to make periodic backups, as well, in the future. You never know what will happen. (I've got to admit that I am not the most organized person and need to take heed of my own advise, above. <g>) Sherri Bradley National Coordinator |
