URL: http://www.usgwelections.org/ ENTRY TO MEMBER RECORDS --Click on Register. Step #1 Box #1. Enter your password. Box #2. Enter your registration (ID) number that is assigned to you. If you do not know your ID number, go to Box #3. Box #3. By using this box, your information will be sent to you. --If you have misplaced or cannot remember your password and/or id, enter your email in the box provided then click on continue. Please include your county and state and/or special project information for verification purposes. The information will be sent to you. --EMAIL: If you do not receive the password and id you may have changed your email address and the old one is still in your records. Please request your password and/or id from the Chair or Dataset Manager. Step #2 - MEMBER NAME AND EMAIL DATA Box G. You can register to vote at Box "G". Be sure to click that box if you want to vote in elections! Box H. If you do *not* wish to receive the USGW Newsletter, click on Box "H". If you *do* want to receive the newsletter, be sure to set your spam filter to accept If you make changes on this page, click on the "Update Record" button at the bottom. If the information is correct, click on the "Info OK" button. Step #4 - MEMBER RECORDS NOTE: If you have more than one county in a state, enter them all within the County or Local Project box. You do not have to enter each county individually. (i. e. Smith, Jones Co.'s). Though the box appears small, it will allow you to add all of your information. 2. Editing: --Use the edit link to add and/or remove counties. --To add a county and/or date, click on edit. You can add counties to a state project and dates when you became a member of a new project, etc. You do not need to add a state again if you are already a member. --If you are still a member of a state, but have left a county or special project, you only need to delete that item. --Delete: To delete a project of which you are no longer a member, click on the word DELETE. A message will be sent to the regional Election Committee member. This person will be contacting you for verification. FOR STATE AND ASSISTANT STATE COORDINATORS 1. (Position Title) If you select State Coordinator, Co State Coordinator or Assistant State Coordinator you MUST select a state. FOR COUNTY AND TOWN COORDINATORS 2a. (Position Title) If you select County Coordinator, Co County Coordinator, Assistant County Coordinator, or Town Coordinator you MUST select a state AND put the county and town (if applicable) in the County or Local Project Name box. 2b. (State) If you select Local Special Project (States) you MUST add the name of the County or Local Project. 2c. (County or Local Project Name) FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS - ARCHIVES 3a. (Position Title) If you are a State File Manager, County or Local Project or State Coordinator of a special project, you MUST select a state. 3b. (State) All members of the Archives MUST select a state. 3c. (County or Local Project Name) If you are the State FM or Asst. State FM, enter that information here. If you are the County FM, enter your county(ies) or local project name in the County or Local Project Name box. FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS - MARRIAGES, OBITS, TOMBSTONES, etc. 4a. (Position Title) Select the special project in which you are a member. 4b. (State) If you select one of the these other special projects, use the N/A for the state. 4c. (County or Local Project Name) put the identifying state, county and/or local project information in this box. --When you have completed adding a project, click the "Add" button. --If you are reviewing a position but have not made changes, click on the "No changes needed on this page." --Finally, to leave this page and proceed to the next click on the "click this link" at the top of this page to record any changes you may have made. Step #4 - CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD To skip this step, . Your current password is: You may change it by making an entry below. Passwords must be at least 6 characters long and no more than 20 characters long. Only numbers, letters and the ( ) symbols may be used. You can also click the "Automatic" button and a new password will be generated for you.
